The Cypress High School Band and Pageantry Boosters operate Saturday Night Bingo each week throughout the year. Bingo is the Band & Pageantry’s primary fund raiser. The funds contributed by Bingo have reduced the needs to continuously run other fund raisers, such as selling candy bars and wrapping paper. We were able to do this due to the dedication of parents and guardians of our Band & Pageantry students, who found the time to commit four hours per month to work a Bingo shift.

The Bingo Hall is located at 5856 Corporate Avenue in Cypress, California. If you have any questions or concerns regarding bingo, please contact Felipa Fuchs.

BECAUSE BINGO PROVIDES SUCH A LARGE PORTION OF OUR OVERALL BUDGET, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT EACH OF US DO OUR SHARE TO MAKE IT A SUCCESS.

One adult, over age 18 (parent, sibling, relative, friend), is requested to work one four-hour shift each month and one fifth week shift per year for each student they have in Band or Pageantry.  A charge of $50.00 is posted to your student’s individual for each shift worked.  Any additional bingo shifts worked in a month will result in an additional $50.00 credit to your account. Keep in mind that this is funny money and may not be withdrawn for cash. The work schedule for each team is shown below.

Team One works the first Saturday of each month and the fifth week of July 2011.
Team Two works the second Saturday each month and the fifth week of October 2011.
Team Three works the third Saturday each month and the fifth week of December 2011*.
Team Four works the fourth Saturday each month and the fifth week of March 2011.

IT IS EACH INDIVIDUAL’S RESPONSIBILITY TO WORK THEIR SHIFT OR FIND A REPLACEMENT.

Each parent will be provided a Bingo Staff Roster, which lists the other staff members, their phone numbers and the position that they have trained for. In the week prior to your assigned shift, a member of the booster club will call to remind and confirm that you will be working your assigned shift. If you will not be able to work your assigned shift, contact other parents on the Bingo Staff Roster that are trained for your position and try to trade shifts with them, then let the phone caller know who will be working for you.
